The Bibliotekstan in Ostermalm is known as an exclusive shopping area selling the best in Swedish and international fashion.

The city centre and the Norrmalm district are recommended for those who are looking for Swedish consumer goods.

On January 18-21, the Stockholm Expo Center will again host the largest Scandinavian design fair Formex, bringing together the best interior designers, industrial designers, importers, manufacturers and buyers.

This is a great place to find new ideas and knowledge in the field of design and a great platform for finding new business contacts among admirers of the Scandinavian style.
Since the beginning of 2016, access to exhibitions in most national museums in Sweden is FREE. These are must-visit museums in my opinion:

Fika
Fika is a Swedish tradition of taking a coffee break during the day.
In Swedish, the word Fika is both a noun, meaning the break itself and a verb, describing its implementation.

Such a break can be arranged by the Swedes every two hours, and it lasts no more than 15 minutes. This is a must-do thing during winter in Stockholm. Here are my favourite cafes for Fika:
Cafes
  • Two Fat Ladies
  • Fabrique Cafe
  • Greasy Spoon
  • Omayma
  • Le Ostermalm
  • Banacado
  • Johan & Nystrom
  • Tribowl Cafe

  • A La Lo
  • Brod & Salt
  • Pascal Bakery & Cafe
One of the best things to do both in summer and winter is to enjoy the panorama of Stockholm. stockholm is a hilly city, that is why it has many points with beautiful views, both outdoors and indoors.
