August Hotel | Authentic Stay in the Design Hotel in Antwerp

We had the opportunity to stay at Hotel August - Antwerp's leading design hotel by architect and designer Vincent Van Duysen. We were so inspired by its interior design and authenticity. I am happy to leave my impressions in this blog post.

August Hotel is a luxury retreat 10 mins from downtown Antwerp. The hotel has a minimalistic feel with a touch of mid-century modern. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings, dark wood floors, and white walls. The decor is sleek and modern with pops of color throughout the hotel. The lobby is bright and welcoming with an elegant design.

We really loved staying at Hotel August because it felt like a home away from home for us. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay as well!

ATMOSPHERE

I had high expectations from this hotel because of the great reviews and beautiful, inspiring photography content. This is a truly authentic, minimalistic, modern yet luxurious hotel. The hotel is incredibly stylish but it also feels cozy and welcoming.

ROOMS

The rooms are all designed by famous designers, with incredible attention to detail, comfort, and style. I am a huge fan of Le Labo cosmetics and the August Hotel has them in the bathrooms. I loved the decor and how spacious everything was. The bed was incredibly comfortable, which is always important when you're traveling. The bathroom was huge with an amazing shower and bathtub.

RESTAURANT & BREAKFAST

The hotel's restaurant serves up dishes that are both visually stunning and delicious — we highly recommend trying the tasting menu!

AREA

The hotel also rents out bikes for 10 euros each. There are several restaurants around so good places to eat are within walking distance. The area is quiet, modern, and beautiful!

I will definitely come back again and recommend it to everyone. The whole atmosphere of this place is luxurious, elegant, and calm. The building has been beautifully restored and the whole place has very inspiring.
